The steps to reset your password depend on how you originally signed up for Galatea.
📌 Not sure how you signed up? If you used Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, you do not have a Galatea password — your sign-in is handled by Apple, Google, directly. See the relevant section below.
Email and password accounts
If you signed up with an email address and password:
- Open the Galatea app.
- Tap the More tab in the bottom right corner.
- Tap Sign In.
- Tap Forgot password? below the login fields.
- Enter the email address linked to your Galatea account.
- Tap Send reset link. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password.
- Check your inbox (and your spam/junk folder if you don't see it within a few minutes).
- Click the link in the email and follow the steps to create a new password.
Not receiving the reset email? Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, make sure you're using the exact email address you registered with. If you're still not receiving it, contact us and we can help locate your account.
Sign in with Apple
Apple manages your sign-in, so there is no Galatea password to reset. To access your account:
- Open Galatea and tap Sign in with Apple. Apple will authenticate you using Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.
- If you need to reset your Apple ID password, visit iforgot.apple.com or go to Settings → [Your name] → Sign-In & Security on your iPhone.
Sign in with Google
Google manages your sign-in, so there is no Galatea password to reset. To access your account:
- Open Galatea and tap Sign in with Google.
- If you need to reset your Google account password, visit accounts.google.com/signin/recovery.
